Roses of all colors were the highlight of the Wine & Roses event.

Wine & Roses Event . . .

First Wine & Roses is a great success!

More than 50 guests joined the staff of Full Features at the first Wine & Roses event held Friday, June 17, at the Retail Garden Center.

Activities got under way with presentations by Jackie Morrow-Fuller on growing and caring for roses, and Kris Fuller on landscaping and its benefits. Guests were treated to a wine tasting by Jowler Creek Vineyard & Winery of Platte City, accompanied by appetizers by Guest Chef Phillip ES Martin. Fudge and truffle samples were provided, compliments of Nellie's Sweet Shoppe of Smithville. Complimentary chair massages, offered by Back &  Bodyworks of Gladstone, added to the relaxing envioronment. 

Door prizes were awarded throughout the evening to winners of the Rose Quiz, "Rose Bingo" game and other contests.
